Just a short quick post this time. I was thinking … (strange I know), but what exactly is the purpose of Adult Toys aka Sex Toys?
Adult Toys are meant to be just that – Toys. They are primarily meant for couples to enhance their sexual relationship.
I guess it is true that some single adults will and do use them for other recreational purposes, they weren’t originally designed to take the place of a partner. Rather, they were meant to complement that partner and to enhance your sexual experience together.
I find that keeping this in mind when purchasing my sex toys (and reviewing them) helps me to remain centered on our relationship, rather than letting it become all about ME.
Many of the sex toys around today are centered on female pleasure, e.g. vibrators and there are many people who, when asked about sex toys, will immediately think of vibrators and will go no further. In fact, there are many many different types of Sex Toys available – more and more with each passing day.
